Dartmoor Classic 2010 information

Dartmoor Classic 2009 rider Ross KernickThe Dartmoor Classic takes a route mainly through Dartmoor National Park and represents a challenge for even the most eperienced riders. The Dartmoor Classic has become, in a very short period, one of the main Cycling Spotives in the UK with participants visiting from as far afield as the USA. The event is exceptionally well organised and the routes challenging even to experienced riders.

The Dartmoor Classic 2010 Cyclo-Sportive offers you a choice of two routes, 100 Miles and 100 Km. Both routes start and finish at the event HQ, located at the Abbrook Park Sports & Social Club, Strap Lane, Kingsteignton.

All entrants will be issued with electronic timing chips prior to the start of the event. These will be used to register your time through designated checkpoints and record your completion time. A unique Dartmoor Classic Sportive 2010 Trophy will be awarded to anyone who complete their chosen course. Medals will also be awarded to those of you who complete their course within the qualifying times which are:

100miles - 160km Mens Ladies
Gold < 6 hrs 35 mins < 6 hrs 55 mins
Silver < 7 hrs 05 mins < 7 hrs 30 mins
Bronze < 8 hrs 20 mins < 8 hrs 45 mins

No medals Men over 8 hrs 20 mins Ladies over 8 hrs 45 mins

60miles - 100km Mens Ladies
Gold < 4 hrs 30 mins < 4 hrs 45 mins
Silver < 5 hrs 00 mins < 5 hrs 15 mins
Bronze < 6 hrs 00mins < 6 hrs 20 mins

No medals Men over 6 hrs Ladies over 6 hrs 20 mins
